Offically a Stay at Home Momma!

That's right, today was my last day of work!  Although I am beyond excited to have the next few weeks to myself preparing and getting things ready for my crazy life that is about to change, I am sad!  The office I worked at was the BEST!  No kidding.  The doctor was amazing and I LOVED the girls that I worked with.  Leaving was definitely bittersweet.  Luckily, I live right down the street from the office so I know I will be making several trips for everyone to see Parker.

Being a stay at home mom is something that I have always wanted. Kyle and I have talked for years now about me staying at home with our kid(s).  I am just so thankful that I am actually able to do so.  Kyle has made all of this possible for us and for that I am forever thankful.

Tomorrow starts my 'new life' of cleaning, cooking and running errands!! =)

36 weeks! 4 weeks to go!

1 month left!! Ahhh..crazy!  Although I feel like I have been pregnant for quite some time now, it is just crazy to think that I only have 4 weeks to go.  Kyle and I have been getting things done every weekend to get ready for Parker.  Kyle has been awesome throughout this entire pregnancy.  He has put together pretty much everything and every little “project” that I have given him is done!  He rocks! =)

Great news, there is nothing to be worried about regarding my elevated heart rate.  Tachycardia is a fairly normal thing that happens to women in the third trimester.  After all, I am growing a human! =)  So, after an EKG and ECG everything looks perfect.   The doctor said it can be normal and that I will more than likely have it with my other pregnancies as well.  Good to know!

Baby Parker is already head down and ready to go so we will see if I actually make it these next 4 weeks! =) (Wishful thinking, I know!)

29 weeks...3rd trimester!!

It’s been an interesting start to the year, that’s for sure.

Recap:

On the 12th I went to my regular doctor’s appointment and all was well until the doctor checked Parker’s heart rate and it was a little wacky.  She decided to monitor me for 30ish minutes to see if maybe he was just sleeping or what not.  After 30 minutes the doctor told me just to be safe she wanted to send me to the Labor and Delivery for an emergency ultrasound just to make sure everything was okay.

We get to the hospital and wouldn’t you know it, Parker’s heart rate was perfect!  The problem was…mine!  My heart rate and high and for whatever reason didn’t go done enough so I was lucky enough to spend the night in the hospital for monitoring.  The next morning after not sleeping a wink the doctor on call said he reviewed everything from over the night and things that my heart rate is just a little high due to just being pregnant.  All the tests that were done came back perfect so I was sent on my way!

I have another appointment next week with my regular doctor so we will see if she has anything to add.

Christmas Craziness & yes...another Baby Shower

Woohoo, traveling season is now done for us!  I love seeing family and going on vacation but I am starting to realize that I love being home and having my routine just as much. =)  The end of summer and beginning of winter is when we travel the most so come the New Year we are usual back into the swing of things.

We just got home from California which is where we spent Christmas this year.  Kyle and I both love going home to California so much because that is where most of our friends are, along with my amazing family!  We were able to be in California for a little over a week and we had a blast.  We always go to our favorite eateries...In N Out, Round Table, Mongolian BBQ and of course Villa Corona (Kyle’s all time favorite).  I was able to spend a good amount of time with my little nephew who I don’t get to see all that much! Kids grow up way too fast! ;)

Sleep over time!  There was a lot of jewelery making and car building going on.

Bed time!

Christmas was great as always!  Presents, family, food and love…perfect combo (not in that order, haha.)

My parents beautiful tree!

Let the present opening begin...

and Christmas night coming to an end.

We also had baby shower #2 with my family which was awesome!  My Mom picked out the cutest theme for the baby shower which was Dr. Seuss.  It was very whimsical, fun and colorful.  Again, Parker got spoiled more than ever and he isn’t even here yet!

Decor.

Good eats!

Thank you again to everyone for coming to the baby shower and spoiling Parker like crazy!!
