Wow...that is so weird to say. We now live in Nashville (actually 10 minutes south of the city) and I just can't believe it. I have told Kyle probably close to 5 times within the last 3 days that it is just so weird that we now live in the south! YIKES!
Here is a quick little update. I forgot to bring my camera cord so I apologize for the lack of pictures but I promise that they are coming.
The drive from Parker to Franklin is 19 1/2 hours. Scary huh? It actually was not bad at all. I was pretty nervous about the trip only because Xena was with us. She had never been in the car for that long so I didn't really know how she would react. Well...she was amazing and literally slept the entire time. I couldn't believe it! Kyle is such a stud and did most of the driving. He only let me drive for 2 1/2 hours and then he was itching for me to let him drive again. (I didn't mind much!)
It has been a pretty long first week here in Tennessee only because NONE of our furniture is here yet. I guess that is the price you pay when your company moves you. We were the first house loaded into the moving truck meaning...last to be unloaded. Needless to say...Kyle and I are both over being on an air bed and eating out for just about every meal.
Well...there you have it! We live in Tennessee and are just trying to get use to the South. It is very different, in a good way. I have been told numerous times "You have the cutest accent!" I just think to myself "Ummm...sorry you are the one with the accent!" =)
